First-run logos carry a one-time $30 Pro Digitizing and Physical Proof charge. That is not a hidden markup: a digitizer converts your artwork to a stitch file by hand, and we sew it on a real test hat and send you photos within 24 to 48 hours for approval before production. The fee is waived at 12 or more items and waived on every reorder, because the file already exists. So a single first hat costs $50 all-in ($20 hat + $30 digitizing), and the same hat on a reorder costs $20.
