The calculator uses Embroidery Inc's real starting prices (pulled from our live catalog, August 2026), our actual automatic quantity discounts (5% at 12, 10% at 24, 15% at 48), and the real digitizing rule: $30 once per new logo, including a sewn proof on a test hat, waived at 12 or more items and on every reorder. Exact totals always come from the product page, since specific styles and premium brands price higher than the starting points used here.
How the numbers work
Every price at Embroidery Inc already includes standard embroidery, so the calculator starts from the finished-item price: hats $18 to $28.75 (the Richardson 112 is $20), polos from $24, jackets from $42, from our live August 2026 catalog. Three automatic discounts stack on quantity: 5% at 12 items, 10% at 24, 15% at 48. New logos add a one-time $30 for hand digitizing plus a real sewn proof on a test hat, photographed for your approval within 24 to 48 hours; that fee vanishes at 12 or more items and on every reorder. Orders ship 3 to 5 business days after you approve the proof.

Common questions
How accurate is this calculator?
It uses our real starting prices and our exact discount and digitizing rules, so for standard hats it is usually exact. Polos and jackets vary more by brand, which is why those lines say from. The product page price is always final.
Does the estimate include shipping?
No. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the speed you choose.
Why does 12 sometimes cost less than 9?
At 12 items the 5% discount starts and the $30 digitizing fee is waived, so the jump often pays for itself. The calculator shows you that tip automatically when it applies.
Is there a minimum order?
No. One hat works. A first-run single hat costs the hat price plus $30 digitizing with a real sewn proof; reorders are just the hat price.
